Open an Office application, such as Word. Go to the Adobe Acrobat compatibility page. Ensure that your version of Adobe PDF Maker is compatible with your version of Office.
Open any Office application, such as Word, and then click File Account Update Options Update Now. Per numerous pages I've tried the following. Ran Word as a local administrator and the box remained checked (or unchecked) across numerous changes in state & restarts. Checked it, closed Word, re-opened Word, found it unchecked again. Checked COM addins and the 'Adobe PDFMaker Office COM Addin' was unchecked. PDFMaker Office COM Addin will not stay enabled. Note: Microsoft Office Applications disable add-ins as a failsafe if the application is prematurely closed (for example, if the system wasn't shut off properly or the application crashed). If the file is missing, then reinstall Acrobat. If it is not listed, then make sure that PDFMOfficeAddin.dll is located in the './Program Files/Adobe/Acrobat 10.0/PDFMaker/Office' folder. To do this, open an Office 2016 application, and click File > Account > Update Options > Update Now. You should also install the latest updates for Office 2016. If this add-in is disabled, you can not convert e-mail to PDF.
Before you try any of the steps below, ensure your version of Adobe Acrobat is compatible with Office 2016. Acrobat PDFMaker in Outlook is used to convert e-mail to PDF.
Locations to save as Select PDF (.pdf) from the Save as type menu. Browse option Select the location where you want to save your PDF in the Save As dialog box. When you open an Office 2016 application, the Adobe Acrobat tab may be missing even though the add-in is available. File tab Select the Save As option in the Backstage view.
